Overview
We are looking for an experienced professional to work closely with Operations and Business Systems to provide support system initiatives and provide ongoing  training to our onsite and corporate teams. We are focused on recruiting a highly effective candidate with Yardi experience and comfortable interacting in both web-based and onsite capacities. The Business Systems Support Specialist will ensure teams feel confident using our systems and following the right processes. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an extensive working knowledge of Yardi products such as Yadi Voyager 7s, RentCafé CRM IQ, VendorCafé, PAYScan, and other software used within RAM and managed by the Business Systems team.
  • Provide software application training using a variety of delivery methods including Live webinar training, in-person training and recorded sessions.
  • Provide troubleshooting and application process support 
  • Facilitate problem-solving between end-user and Business Systems software provider.
  • Create and maintain training materials, guides and resources to support ongoing learning 
  • Identify trends in support questions and proactively address FAQs during trainings and follow-up communication
  • Participate in testing and implementation of updates, enhancements and new initiatives
  • Travel as needed to support training on-site teams (approximately 25%-50%)

Qualifications

  •  Ability to problem solve and willingness to identify the root cause of an issue
  • Ability to multi-task and advance multiple responsibilities/tasks toward completion simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of property management workflows (leasing, renewals, move-in/out, AP,etc)
  • Experience working in a helpdesk ticketing system (Zendesk preferred)
  • An associate degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Five years in a property management environment is preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience working with Yardi Voyager.
  • Experience delivering web-based and live training is highly preferred.
  • Ability to anticipate areas of difficulty and/or questions and quickly adapt training to meet the end-user needs.
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terms..
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience diagnosing problems with software products (preferred)
  • Intermediate knowledge of various internet browsers and using web-based applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and the flexibility to work on different projects.
